Communities for Adults Discovery Classes FAQs What We Believe Directions Sunday Morning Worship Services At Southside Fellowship, it's our greatest desire to equip you to live out the purpose and personality of Jesus in your world. We believe the best way to do that is to help you fully understand the Gospel and the impact it can have on your daily life. The Discovery Classes provide distinct opportunities for you to step into the life of our fellowship to learn more about us as you discover more about the life-changing impact of Gospel. If you have any questions about the following classes, please contact Susan Salamone. Starting Point A 75-minute introduction to our ministry and some of the people who have been impacted by it. Upcoming meeting dates are (Sunday) Aug. 22, Sept. 19, and Oct. 10, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Room 202. Registration is requested, but not required. Register now for the August 22 class. Discovering the Gospel* An overview of the Gospel (who Jesus is and what He has done) and how it shapes your daily life and our environments here at Southside. Discovering the Gospel meets on Sunday nights and is offered six times each year. The next Discovering the Gospel is Sept. 26, 2010. The class meets from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Room 202 and we recommend attending this class prior to the Discovering Southside Fellowship class. Registration is required. Discovering Southside Fellowship* A five-week class focusing on how the Gospel shapes our leadership and ministries as well as a look at our values and environments for growth. During this class, you will begin to build relationships that will help launch you into community life with others in our fellowship. This class will also help you begin to discover the biblical path toward becoming a disciple of Christ. The next Discovering Southside Fellowship is Oct. 3-Nov. 7, 2010. The class meets at 10 a.m. in Room 202. Registration is required. Register Now for the October 3 class. *Note: Discovering the Gospel and Discovering Southside are both required classes for membership at Southside Fellowship which will be followed by a personal interview by an elder or a pastor.
